CrownBet Review

CrownBet is the biggest 100 percent Australian owned bookmaker. Until September 2014, it was known as Betezy and BetEasy until March 2015. CrownBet only offers Australian dollar accounts. It’s an approved betting partner with the NRL, Tennis Australia, AFL and Cricket Australia. In 2015, CrownBet registered over 110,000 new customers.

Interface

CrownBet’s interface features the ubiquitous 3-column layout. The odds and markets are in the center, the betting slip is on the right and the list of sports is located on the left. Two Filters are shown at the top of the middle column when you choose a sport. A list of matches is shown with head-to-head probability when a league is chosen.

Users can choose from different submitting options (extra multi’s, multi or single) when they add more than one option to their betting slip. The possible returns are automatically shown when the stake amounts are entered. CrownBet’s website is easy and fast to use, making it more convenient for users to place their bets.

Sports Markets

CrownBet offers a wide range of sports selection. Some of the markets to look forward to are baseball and tennis. Punters can also place bets on horse racing events. Thoroughbred racing is available for certain locations in South Africa, Hong Kong, UK, New Zealand, France and Australia. Greyhound and harness betting is available for venues in New Zealand and Australia.

Best Tote (for Place), Best Tote+ (for Win) and Fixed are offered for Australian thoroughbred venues. Quaddies, doubles and trebles are available every day for most venues. First Four, Win/Place, Trifecta, Quinella and Exacta are available on the majority of races. VIC+5% is offered for overseas thoroughbreds and Midi Div is available for greyhounds and harness. As the racing interface works together with the sports betting segment, you can combine racing and sports betting options in your betting slip.

CrownBet also offers live sports betting, but their lineup is limited. As of now, CrownBet only offers NFL, NRL and AFL. Since live online betting is not accessible for Australians due to the Interactive Gambling Act, Australian punters should phone in so that they can bet live.

CrownBet Mobile App

CrownBet’s mobile app can be downloaded for free and used to place bets. The app is available in Android devices, iPhone and iPad. It also gives updates on the odds of any sports events or race. Punters can use the app anywhere. They can bet on the latest NRL or AFL matches or horse racing events.
